Doctoral Programs

Antioch University doctoral programs challenge professionals and independent scholars to find solutions for contemporary and future complex problems. Our programs are broad enough to provide a rigorous foundation in each specific field of knowledge, yet are flexible enough to accommodate individualized research. In addition to the traditional classroom approach, many of our doctoral studies programs incorporate online learning, collaborative research, intensive seminars and service learning to meet the needs of the active, working professional and scholar.

Our doctoral programs admit a small group of students each year to afford students the personal attention and lively interaction that promotes and supports a positive, engaging learning environment. Once admitted, students join a diverse community of educators, managers, scientists, communicators, policy makers, writers, and activists—each with a unique professional and scholarly perspective.
