Andrzej Bloch completed postdoctoral fellowship work at the University of Florida and University of Tilburg in the Netherlands. His academic and research interests are in comparative economics, economic development and the transition from industrial to post-industrial societies. His research addresses issues of transformation in Eastern European societies, formation of emerging markets and their response to challenges of global economy.

Andrzej has been Director of Antioch Education Abroad since 1998. He was on the faculty at Antioch College since 1982, and directed the Europe in Transition program in 1989 and 1995. Additionally, he was Dean of Faculty at Antioch College from 2005-2008.

Since 2007, Andrzej has been the Dean of International Education at Antioch University, as well as serving as a member of Antioch University’s Academic Council.
