Accommodations and Meals

During the Brazilian Ecosystems program, students stay in small hotels and hostels while traveling, and research field stations where sleeping arrangements range from hammocks to cots. Meals and bedding are provided at every site.

Our fall semester program students have a one-week homestay experience in Curitiba to enrich students’ cross-cultural and language immersion.

The program director and on-site staff  arrange all lodging prior to the start of the program to ensure suitable and reliable accommodations. Specific accommodations will be detailed in informational packets sent prior to students’ departure for the program. The meal structure varies at each site. Examples include group meals prepared in a residence kitchen, dinners with homestay family, and meal stipends to purchase own food.

Please contact us  with any questions you may have on program accommodations or to discuss dietary restrictions or potential concerns.
