Comparative Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe  is a  FALL  semester program,
running from mid-August to mid-November.

Spring

• Consultation with academic advisor at home institution regarding independent research project

Summer

• Completion of assigned summer readings
• Submit response papers and begin a research field journal
• Independent research project preliminary research
• Submit brief research proposal

Fall Program

• Participation in the European  NOISE  Summer School
• Seminar participation and coursework, lectures, and site visits
• Student/faculty conferences
• Conduct interviews and maintain resource/contact list

Final Week

• Oral presentation of independent research project
• Situated Feminisms group presentations

Post-Program

• Independent research project paper due
• Feminist theory paper due
