Requirements
The Globalization and Community Responses in Argentina program serves both Antioch University (AU) students and undergraduate students from any college or university in the United States. Students in good academic standing with their home institutions may apply.
Language Requirement: Intermediate level of Spanish language competency or higher is strongly recommended (typically two years of college-level Spanish). In their application to the program, students must demonstrate their Spanish language proficiency through courses listed on their transcript, an explanation in their Goals Statement, and/or a letter of recommendation from a Spanish language professor/teacher/tutor. Native speakers are encouraged to apply.
We welcome students interested in a broad range of disciplines, including Latin American Studies, Anthropology, Community Development, Community Arts, Economics, Education, Environmental Studies, History, Journalism, Political Science, Public Health, Sociology, Spanish Language and Literature, and other related fields.
Deadlines
The application deadline is October 30.
We strongly encourage students to visit their study abroad office on their home campus as soon as possible as they may have earlier deadlines.
Early applications may be reviewed for early acceptance. Late applications will be reviewed on a space available basis.
Passports
Students who need to obtain or renew their passports should apply as soon as possible using the expedited option due to major delays at U.S. passport processing centers. (You will need to renew your passport if it is not valid for at least 6 months past the end of the program). Apply for or renew your passport here.
