María Dulce Henriquez Acosta

Professor Henriquez’s specialization is Social Economy, and has focused her research and work since 2007 on micro-creditng in Argentina. Professor Henriquez has taught macroeconomics and formulation and evaluation of economic development projects in the Faculty of Economics at FASTA Bariloche since 2008, and currently serves as Director of Social Economy of the Municipality of San Carlos de Bariloche.

The Lead Faculty member organizes the Seminar course, leads class discussions, and evaluates student work in the Seminar. She brings in additional faculty who provide lectures and lead discussions.

 

Fernanda Wiefling

Professor of Spanish and English Languages,  FASTA University, Bariloche

Licenciada en Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Professor Wiefling’s specialization is Linguistics and has taught Spanish at FASTA since 2004. She has also taught on the Humanities faculty of the Universidad Nacional de Rí­o Negro since 2009. Professor Wiefling leads the Spanish language component of the Globalization and Community Responses in Argentina program, and is the main point of contact for students during the program.

Additional faculty from FASTA University will be teaching program courses, as part of their regular semester offerings.

Luisa co-teaches the Core Seminar, Impacts of Globalization and Community Responses in Patagonia, and leads an extensive on-site orientation for students in Bariloche.
