Early March
Arrive in Buenos Aires, travel to Bariloche, Argentina
Weeks 1-3

- Intensive Spanish language course

Sample Daily Schedule
Weekday in April
8am – breakfast with host-mom
9am – take the bus to service learning organization, Pro-Niño
9:30am – 11:30 – Lead a group of youths in a game of soccer, and assist them to complete their homework* [Note: school days are broken up into two half days in Argentina, elementary and high school students go either in morning or afternoon session.]
11:30 – 12:30 – assist serving lunch for the youth
12:30-2:00 – take the bus down to the lake to meet up with friends for a picnic lunch and mate
2:00-4:30pm – do class reading in the Library Sarmiento downtown
4:30pm – walk home to get materials for class, walk to the university FASTA
5:30pm – 6:30pm – meet Spanish tutor to review vocab questions and written assignment for weekly classes
6:30-8:30pm – History of Argentina class
8:30-9:15 -coffee with friends in the student café to discuss the lecture before going home
9:15-11pm – walk home, eat dinner with host family, watch the nightly news before bed
