Antioch Education Abroad Programs

Antioch Education Abroad Programs

At each of our program locations, students engage in studies of specific academic themes contextualized and connected to critical issues of these countries and regions’ cultural, environmental, and socio-economic landscapes. The current programs offered through AEA are:

Arts & Culture in West Africa
Buddhist Studies in India
Community Development in Cameroon
Comparative Women’s & Gender Studies in Europe

Our programs are led by AEA faculty and on-site staff and engage local academics, practitioners and activists, while providing opportunities for students to learn from and contribute to local communities. AEA Program Directors, Lead Faculty, and Resident Directors reside in-country with students for the duration of the program, and are available to guide students academically and personally.
