Janet (“Jan”) M. Morgan

Janet M. Morgan joined the board in 2006.  She is the President of CSRwire, the corporate social responsibility and sustainability newswire in MA.  Previously she held positions as:  President of the consulting firm Morgan Amadeo LLC, Director of Not-For-Profit Consulting Services at RSM McGladrey, and Director of the American Express Tax & Business Services Not-For-Profit Consulting Services in NY.  She has more than 25 years of management experience.

Jan describes her passion as “creating positive, sustainable, progressive change.”  She believes that planning, philanthropy, and thoughtful investment can bring about long-term transformation and prosperity by addressing major global concerns.

Jan has consulted with a wide range of clients from the Fortune 500 to nonprofit and social venture enterprises. Before joining American Express in 2003, Jan served as Managing Director of the Media Minds Group in Greenwich CT.  Prior to that, Jan was a founding partner and Executive Vice President of Zink Communications which was acquired in 1995 and branded The Zink Group, a marketing consulting agency.

Jan holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. from St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is a frequent speaker and a member of the Social Venture Network.
