Miguel Figueroa

Miguel Figueroa joined the board in 2012.  He brings significant experience delivering audit and strategic management consulting services to multinational, mid-sized and start-up publicly traded and private-held companies, currently serves as managing partner of MJF & Associates, USA member firm of MJF International, an audit, tax and management consulting firm.  Miguel is responsible for the technical audit quality and the firm’s quality control reviewer program.  Miguel serves clients in a variety of industries and sectors.  He also serves as chair of the partnership board of MJF International, a boutique and global group of audit, tax and consulting firms with presence in over 108 countries.

In addition, Miguel has vast experience and consults on corporate governance, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), SEC regulations, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, corporate governance, audit committee effectiveness, risk management and management consulting services, specifically in corporate strategy, governance and business process improvement.  Miguel’s tenure has included similar senior management positions at a “Big 4” firm in both the audit of international public companies and strategy consulting.

Miguel, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), earned a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University San Marcos, MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California and Harvard Business School’s Executive Program on Corporate Governance.  Miguel also holds several corporate governance and Board of Director Professionalism certificates.
