"While working at the Glen, I think that it is important to fully embrace the community-living aspect. I believe that you receive at least as much as you give, and that it is in your best interest to give all of yourself and lay it all on the line. When the internship ends, you will want to feel that you’ve given all you had, left a piece of yourself there, and also taken something away." Jim W.

Naturalist staff live in one of three staff houses located on Glen Helen property. Each Naturalist has his or her own room for quiet times, and the company of other like-minded people for building a committed, supporting community.

Living in Yellow Springs provides an added opportunity to experience a progressive, community-centered town dedicated to green living and sustainability.
