The Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center’s Schoolcamp curriculum is aligned with Ohio Academic Content Standards, especially in the areas of life and physical science. Students that visit Glen Helen experience a wide variety of lessons, which integrate inquiry and hands-on learning in our natural communities. Many of our lessons are multi-disciplinary incorporating science, social studies and language arts themes. Teachers work closely with our Program Coordinator to design an outdoor education experience that will compliment classroom learning objectives.
