Earth Day Program and Hawk Release
Sunday, April 19, 2009, 2:00 PM at the Raptor Center
Tour the Center and meet our staff, enjoy a special program with our raptors, and watch a rehabilitated red-tailed hawk fly free. Parking is limited, so you may wish to park at the main Glen Helen lot on Corry Street, and walk over. The program starts promptly at 2:00 PM, so don’t miss it.

Raptor Camp Program
Thursday, June 18, 2009, 1:30 PM at the Raptor Center
There will be a short program with our birds on the lawn for the kids attending Ecocamps, then the Raptor Campers will be by the cages to tell visitors about their birds. There is the possibility of having young American kestrels to release in the meadow, but that will not be certain until closer to the June date.

Owl Program and Release
Thursday, July 9, 2009, 8:00 PM in Glen Helen
Four species of Ohio owls will be presented in this program for our Ecocampers and the public. Then young screech-owls will be released to the wild.
The program location is across from the Horace Mann Meadow on Bryan Park Road near John Bryan State Park. Parking is available in the meadow. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.

Fall Open House
Sunday, October 18, 2009, 2:00-4:00 PM at the Raptor Center
Staff members will have birds out for close-up introductions and photo opportunities. Visitors will be able to tour behind-the-scenes in our classroom and rehabilitation flight cages. Come by anytime during the Open House. Parking is limited, so you may wish to park at the main Glen Helen parking area on Corry Street and hike over.
