Outdoor Education Center Rentals

To begin the reservation process for the Outdoor Education Center buildings, please call Whitney Reinhard at (937) 767-7648 or wreinhard@glenhelen.org.

Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your reservation. If you are renting more than one building, only the largest amount of the buildings deposits is required. Deposits are applied toward your total fee. They are refunded in full if 30 days prior notice of cancellation is received.

Fees
Our dormitory fees are assessed on a 24-hour basis (i.e. 3pm-3pm). If you group's stay extends a 24-hour period, the following list reflects the added rates for that additional time:

1-4 hours:$3/person
5-8 hours: $5/person
9-12 hours: $7/person
Anything after 12 hours is considered another full day.

Invoicing
An invoice will be mailed to you at the end of your group's stay. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. A 2% late fee will be added each month to any unpaid invoices beyond 30 days.

Taxes
A 3% county lodging tax is applied to all overnight stays (exempting military). A 6.5% state sales tax is applied to all rentals (exempting non-profit organizations, in which case a Blanket Certificate of Exemption with tax I.D. number is required).

Late Check Out
If your stay exceeds your pre-arranged departure time, a $25 charge will be applied.

Cleaning
Rental groups are responsible for cleaning all rented facilities before their departure.

Meals
Rental groups provide their own food, meal preparation and cleaning. Use of kitchen appliances, dishes and utensils are included in the Lodge rental rate. Missing or damaged kitchen supplies will be charged to the visiting group. Please be sure to bring your own kitchen towels and pot holders.
