<description>Essential Functions of the Position:

This position is responsible for all aspects of application management in support of the Antioch University Administrative Systems.  Responsibilities include management of the integrated software application (Datatel) that supports the Administrative services across a multi-campus environment including security procedures, disaster recovery, user account management, database performance management, installing application patches, and the integration of  GUI/Web user interfaces.  In addition to daily application management this position will lead major application upgrade projects and will help manage and implement campus projects in relation to Colleague Administrative applications. Some early morning and week-end hours will be required.</description>

<title>Sakai Instructional Support Designer</title>
<description>Job Description:
As Instructional Support Designer, you will manage key aspects of the instructional support and faculty training process, from project identification and planning through course deployment and assessment. Working with fully online, hybrid, and face-to-face course support, you will communicate and coordinate across all five university campuses and work with academic deans, faculty, other academic technology staff, and vendors. You will identify subject matter, define deliverables, determine dependencies, participate in faculty the design and delivery of faculty training, and meet deadlines. This position will report the Director of Academic Technology.

Duties and responsibilities:
1.	Promote effective teaching and learning within a range of technology enhanced environments.
2.	Work closely with user groups to select, organize and structure design elements and templates for various delivery media ensuring accuracy, quality &amp; timeliness of training materials and courseware. 
3.	Support and effect the design, development, modification, and evaluation of web-based environments in Sakai, including instructional programs, courses, materials, methods, teaching &amp; assessment techniques, and e-portfolios.
4.	Develop training programs using web-based, virtual classroom and instructor led modalities to create synchronous and asynchronous training in a Sakai LMS environment.
5.	Create job aids, facilitator and participant guides, study guides, etc. to accompany courseware.
6.	Mentor and train faculty through review of active courses, one-on-one training, and group training as appropriate.
7.	Introduce and integrate innovative use of new technologies.
8.	Develop and monitor project schedules and contracts.
9.	Seek and procure grants relating to e-learning.
10.	Other duties as requested.</description>

<title>Helpdesk Technical Consultant</title>
<description>The Help Desk Technical Consultant supports all activities associated with the Antioch Help Desk. This person diagnoses and resolves IT issues to provide second level user support by phone or email (first level support is outsourced to an outside company). The incumbent will support and provide excellent customer service to a user community that consists of faculty, staff and students. <title>Naturalist Internships</title>
<description>Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center is searching for Naturalist Interns.  The Outdoor Education Center is situated in Antioch’s beautiful Glen Helen Nature Preserve, which spans over 1,000 acres of protected forests, wetlands, and prairies.  Geological features include valleys formed by glacial melt waters, cascades, ledges, and the natural spring from which the neighboring village gets its name.  Facilities include student dorms, staff housing, day lodge, a small museum, and nationally recognized raptor rehabilitation center.  We are recruiting Naturalist Interns for our winter term lasting from January through early June, and our fall term from August through mid December.  Initial transportation to the Glen is the responsibility of interns, however the village of Yellow Springs is within walking distance and a vehicle during the program is not required.  We are not able to host children or pets in our staff housing.  International residents are encouraged to apply though fluent English skills are necessary.

 Benefits include:
	• 	Earn 10 graduate or 12 undergraduate credits through Antioch College – tuition waived
	• 	Possible extension of internship as an executive intern at end of term review
	• 	Opportunity to work with birds of prey at our Raptor Center
