Antioch University’s Ph.D. in Leadership and Change Program Alumna Wins Outstanding ETD Award

Dr. Lucy Barbera, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz and Alumna of the Antioch University Ph.D. in Leadership and Change Program has won the Outstanding Electronic Theses and Dissertation Award for Excellence in Scholarship from the Ohio Electronic Theses and Dissertation (ETD) Association.
Dr. Barbera’s dissertation entitled, Palpable Pedagogy: Expressive Arts Leadership and Change in Social Justice Teacher Education, is a qualitative, arts-informed, ethnographic study of the pedagogy and culture engendered when the arts are utilized in teacher education to identify, explore, and address issues of justice schools.
