On Saturday, June 7, 2008, School of Liberal and Professional Studies will sponsor a public presentation and discussion by Aaron Saari, Adjunct Professor in the Undergraduate Studies Program at McGregor. Mr. Saari holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology and is completing his Master of Arts degree in English from Xavier University. He will discuss his academic research on the related topics of Judas Iscariot in the Christian Tradition, as well as a consideration of whether suicide is a sin according to biblical texts. Saari's research was recently presented in a documentary entitled The Secrets of the Twelve Disciples which premiered on Channel Four in the United Kingdom on Easter Sunday.
