Grady Jones

Grady Jones has served as Vice Chancellor for Antioch University since October 2010 where his duties include working with Advancement staffs at Antioch campuses in Keene, New Hampshire; Yellow Springs, Ohio; Los Angeles; Santa Barbara and Seattle.

Previous to his service with Antioch, Jones was the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Jacksonville University (Florida) for seven years. He directed the university’s efforts in alumni relations, major gift development, planned giving, grants management, campaigns and corporate relations.

He began his career in Advancement at Purdue University. He first served as the Director of Development for Math & Statistics and later had his responsibilities increased to work with Actuarial Sciences, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, and Physics. His final position at Purdue was as Director of Development for Biological Sciences where he worked on a $30 million capital campaign to build a Viral Research Center.

Jones received Bachelor Degrees in English and Religious Studies at Oakland City University. He studied Organizational Communication at Purdue University and earned a Masters Degree in Philanthropic Studies at Indiana University.

Jones is married and the father of three children. He is an avid golfer and occasionally writes short stories for the amusement of family and friends.
