PhD in Leadership and Change Admissions and Financial Aid

We are now accepting applications for our 2013/14 term.

Our Final Application Deadline is May 1, 2013 or until the cohort is filled.

The PhD program admits a cohort of 25-30 students each year, with the academic term beginning July 1 and ending on June 30.

 A master’s degree issued from an institution recognized by an accrediting body that has been approved by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and five years of relevant professional experience are minimum eligibility requirements. In addition, selection for admission will depend upon such characteristics as capacity for self-directed learning, evidence of strong academic skills and conceptual abilities, and an interest in interdisciplinary study and applied research.   Applicants must demonstrate a strong potential for individual and professional growth, evidence of leadership and aspiration to lead, and an interest in being a socially engaged professional.

Students in the PhD in Leadership and Change Program are eligible for federal financial aid and we have experienced financial aid counselors who can speak with you and assist you in the process. Financial aid for the PhD program is dispersed on a trimester basis. Contact twebb@antioch.edu for more information.

In addition to federal financial aid, many students in the PhD Program secure reimbursement from their employer. We will be happy to speak with your employer and complete all paperwork to assist you in securing this employee benefit. Contact vnighswander@antioch.edu for more information.
