PhD in Leadership and Change Scholarships

Fellowships and Grants

A number of fellowships and grants are available to graduate students through outside sources.

The program suggests students searching www.finaid.org, www.wiredscholar.com, or www.fastweb.com for information on scholarships, fellowships, grants and loans.

We also encourage students to contact state education foundations, civic groups, employers or other organizations with which they or their family are affiliated. Local and university libraries may be a good resource for more information on resources.

Scholarships

Alan E. Guskin Scholars’ Fund in Leadership and Change

The PhD Program is proud to offer the Alan E. Guskin Scholars’ Fund, which offers tuition scholarships for incoming students and for continuing students, and research support for students who have reached candidacy and are actively engaged in the dissertation process (in the field of education). In accordance with the commitment of Antioch University to encourage a socially engaged and humanistic education that helps to improve the quality of life for individuals, communities, and the world, the two primary criteria for selection will be documented performance in service to a community and student need. To be considered, students must have an EFC of $30,000 or lower. This scholarship fund was established by a generous gift from Lillian and Jon Lovelace as a way to honor Dr. Alan Guskin’s contributions to Antioch University and to higher education in general.

Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Scholarship

In honor of the many generations of Antioch University’s Peace Corps Volunteers the PhD in Leadership and Change Program is proud to announce the establishment of a scholarship fund for an incoming student who is a returned Peace Corps volunteer.
