Dr. Devona Stalnaker-Shofner has extensive clinical experience including a special focus in substance abuse and addictions work, particularly among adolescents. She has worked with the court system and a variety of correctional services including state prison and alternative sentencing. Devona has also worked with the victims of violent crimes. Training and supervising counselors with an eye to increasing their capacity to maintain their own wellness is a focus of her research agenda.
Dr. Devona Stalnaker-Shofner received her doctoral degree in Counselor Education from Argosy University in Atlanta, GA and holds a license to practice in Georgia.
