Stephen Peters, MS
Adjunct Faculty
Mr. Peters has over 25 years of experience in managing organizations and programs ranging from research and development (R&D) to product development and sales. He has real “hands-on” experience in implementing a variety of business disciplines including portfolio management, program/project management, market development/client needs assessment, marketing strategy development and execution (including brand management), budget planning and management, and risk identification/mitigation/management. His experience includes organizational and program management in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on developing and delivering technology products and services.
Mr. Peters is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the TheNETT, Ltd., a Native woman-owned small business that focuses on providing advocacy and support for underserved communities in the US, particularly indigenous communities. The mission of TheNETT is to foster and build healthier and more resilient individuals, families, and communities among native peoples.
Educational History
Mr. Peters was certified Level III in Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering under the US Air Force Acquisition Professional Development Program and was an Acquisition Corps member. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a BS in Engineering Sciences from the US Air Force Academy.
