Advocacy, Social Change, and the Economics of the Nonprofit Sector – with Geoff Green
November 1, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm PDT
Join AUSB’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts in Education (MAE) programs for Advocacy, Social Change, and the Economics of the Nonprofit Sector, a workshop by Geoff Green, CEO of the SBCC Foundation.
Nonprofits are a powerful economic and political force. Nearly every significant social and cultural movement of the last half-century has been led, at least in part, by nonprofit organizations. More Americans give to nonprofits than vote. In this workshop, we’ll examine the economics, business models, leadership structures, and social change roles of nonprofit organizations, and consider what’s possible.
