AUS Art Therapy Sample Class | November 14
November 14, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm PST
Free
Art therapists use innovative techniques to help their clients heal, grow, and actualize an expanded menu of potentials. Training students to enter this field and become professional art therapists naturally involve a great deal of experiential work in the classroom, alternating with discussion to help students integrate experiential and more traditionally academic forms of learning.
Join art therapists Alyssa Griskiewicz and Elizabeth Donahue as they lead this sample class to give you a taste of the experiential work and discussion that is typical in the art therapy classes at Antioch. Faculty will lead the class in a process of art making that emphasizes our relationship to the materials with which we choose to express ourselves. Attendees are asked to commit to attending the full two-hour class.
