In Bloom in New Haven: Promising Practices in Nature-based Early Childhood Education Conference
June 3, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EDT
free
Antioch University New England hosts three In Bloom east coast conferences this spring. First we’re on the road to Eyes of the World Discovery Center in Kittery, Maine on Saturday, April 22. The forest out behind the school is an enchanting place and well worth seeing!
Witnessing the enthusiasm of early childhood educators in this muddy effort to get children outside has been both inspirational and heartwarming! These conferences allow a place to share the work of some of the best nature-based early childhood educators. And in return, we have learned so much from you.
Each conference will feature morning and afternoon keynotes and two workshop sessions to actively engage in the nature programming of your choice. All events focus on the educational and health benefits of being in the natural world with children.
Keynotes-
Juliet Robertson, Creative STAR Learning, Inverurie, Scotland
