CSI-OMG is pleased to announce the sponsorship of their first conference: The Social Justice Symposium: Social Justice in Counseling. The symposium will be presented online with speakers and attendees from around the globe.
This symposium is produced in collaboration with the New England Antioch campus and their CSI chapter, Alpha Nu Epsilon.

Keynote Speakers
May 6, 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET – Dr. Manivong J. Ratts is associate dean in the College of Education and professor of counseling at Seattle University. Dr. Ratts is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and past President of Counselors for Social Justice, a division of the American Counseling Association (ACA). His research is in the area of multiculturalism and social justice.
May 7, 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET — Dr. S. Kent Butler, Jr. holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a concentration in Counseling Psychology, from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Butler presently serves as faculty advisor to CHI SIGMA IOTA International Honor Society (CSI), the Counselor Education Doctoral Student Organization (CEDSO), Project for Haiti Knights, and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He served as the Principal Investigator for The High-Risk Delinquent and Dependent Child Educational Research Project: Situational Environmental Circumstances Mentoring Program (SEC), which was a partnership between the University of Central Florida and several Florida universities.
