April 28, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am EDT

Two people on hike, man pointing into the distance

Every spring, dozens of colorful migratory bird species return to their breeding grounds in New England from the tropics. Join the Antioch Bird Club for an educational walk and guided identification of birds in their local spring migration.

Join us for a moderately strenuous hike at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve, beginning at the parking lot on Daniels Hill Road. Please bring water, a snack, and binoculars for spotting birds. Prepare for weather by dressing for the outdoor walk, including appropriate shoes. This event is available at no charge. However, registration will be required.

Sign Up to Attend!

Co-sponsored by Antioch Bird Club, Horatio Colony Nature Preserve, Cheshire County Conservation District.
