About the Presenter
Jacques Habra is an award-winning serial entrepreneur who has founded or co-founded 8 startups in the past 20 years. Several of Habra’s companies have been acquired and others have gone on to achieve series B and C funding levels. Habra explains “the startups that didn’t work out taught him even more than the success stories.” Local and regional success stories include being the lead investor and interim CEO for TrackR (formerly Phone Halo) which recently raised $10MM, launch and sale of SBClick, and launch of First Click – still in operations. Habra serves on several non-profit boards in the community and in 2016 was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Santa Barbara Technology and Industry Association.
