“The Advocates” Screening
May 9, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm PDT

Join us for a FREE screening and panel discussion, presented in partnership with the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ Everyone In campaign. Filmed over a period of three years, the documentary The Advocates provides an intimate look at the history and causes of LA’s current homelessness crisis and an up-close view of the tireless work of advocates who strive to create better lives for those living on the streets.
After the screening, director Remi Kessler and community representatives and advocates discuss their work and share what you can do to get involved. There will also be a reception with drinks and light refreshments.
