The Future of Teletherapy Webinar | AULA

May 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm PDT

Individual in a telehealth meeting

With the Pandemic forcing people to stay in their homes, many psychotherapists reluctantly had to change from an in-person model to a teletherapy model to continue service with their clients. Most therapists had not utilized this format before, however; more than two years later, this modality has become extremely successful. Today many therapists are finding it greatly beneficial, and continue to incorporate it into their treatment plans. It appears that the hybrid model is here to stay.

Please join Susan Schuster-Bacon, LMFT as she outlines the ways in which teletherapy has changed the landscape of therapy services, and the pathways to a career in Clinical Psychology.

Susan is not only a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist but also a credentialed teacher in both regular and special education. Professionally, Susan likes to integrate her interests in both therapy and education. In 2020, she became the director of ACTS (Antioch Community Therapy Services), which provides no-cost therapy to individuals in California, as well as Practicum training experience for Antioch students who are studying to become licensed practitioners.

Learn more about the low-residency and traditional delivery models of the Masters in Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University Los Angeles, and the world of teletherapy.

This webinar will be held using Zoom. Login information will be included in your registration confirmation email.
