Join our MBA faculty and students for this free workshop, open to the public, on the art of the professional business negotiation.
Every professional is expected to negotiate. When in formal business negotiations, understanding how to value and leverage diverse perspectives is essential to successful negotiations resulting in desired outcomes. In this workshop we will:
- Explore how culture influences perceptions and can impact behaviors in negotiations.
- Consider learned cultural behaviors and how they can affect negotiation strategy.
- Identify ways to practice intercultural skills and cultural humility to reap their positive impacts on negotiations.
About the presenter, Angela Antenore, M.Ed.
Angela combines her background in education and psychology to provide facilitation and training consulting in leadership and organizational effectiveness. Experienced working across the U.S. and internationally, she works with private, public, non-profit and academic institutions. Angela prioritizes leadership development and effective communication strategies working with executives, managers, line-staff, customers, and community members including elected officials. To build collaborative and high performing teams, she encourages leveraging the diversity of skills, perspectives and experiences to engage, motivate and produce positive results. Her volunteer activities focus on social and environmental justice and education.
