Position Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Dean, School of Environment and Sustainability is responsible to and receives assignments from the Provost/CEO, oversees administrative operations of the The Office of Academic Affairs, supervises support staff and maintains high confidential standards.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in other relevant field of study required; Master’s Degree in relevant field of study preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years administrative experience with increased responsibilities in complex academic or corporate environment required.
- Experience providing direct support to a high level administrative position required.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to rigorously prioritize tasks and to manage multiple projects with vacillating priority levels in order to work within the time constraints of the
- Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, creating and managing spreadsheets, editing and proofreading skills are required. Competence with email and calendar scheduling software programs. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to learn new cloud-based enterprise systems is essential.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the staff member is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands and fingers, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The individual must regularly lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
