Job Description
- Work with the Institute’s co-founders and director to establish, promote, and grow the Latinx Mental Health and Social Justice Institute in support of the Latinx community.
- Tasks include: weekly meetings with supervisor (1 hour)
- Working meetings with other members of the institute as needed (1-2 hours)
- Social media management, content search and delivery (2 – 5 hours)
- Marketing efforts (2 – 5 hours)
- Engage or lead institute’s projects/initiatives such as service, community engagement, collaborations, and among others (1 – 10 hours)
Qualifications
- Applicants must have interest and understanding of the Latinx community, and commitment to working for their well-being and related social justice issues that affect the community.
- We are looking for individuals who are organized
- Familiar with various social media outlets
- Able to take initiative with meeting the goals of the institute.
- Experience with organizing events and Spanish skills are preferred.
