Join us for USMA’s biannual Sustainable Supper where local indigenous leaders will talk about land, food, sovereignty, and justice. Moderated by Angela Mooney D’Arcy (Acjachemen), Executive Director of Sacred Places Institute. Free vegan dinner by Seasonal Organic Local (SOL) in consultation with the Chia Cafe Collective.

Tina Orduno Calderon: (Gabrieliño-Tingva and Chumash) Elder and Language Reclamation Advocate

Lorene Sisquoc: (Cahuilla/Apache) Curator of the Sherman Indian School Museum in Riverside, California

Richard Bugbee: (Payoomkawichum/Luiseno) Instructor of Ethnobotany and Ethnoecology at Kumeyaay Community College
