A Discussion of Methods to Support Girls and Young Women Transitioning from the Juvenile Justice System
This discussion will look at girls’ and young women’s unique pathways into incarceration and conditions of confinement, in order to build a positive post-incarceration future. Speaking from personal experience and engagement, our guest panel will lead a conversation on the potential to imagine and develop actions to support girls and young women transitioning from the juvenile justice system – actions such as policy advocacy, research, mentorship, art, expression and more.
