Beverley Keefe has more than 20 years of non-profit communications, fundraising, and operations/management experience. She has a keen eye for detail, a passion for engaging supporters, and specializes in assisting socially responsible organizations (both non-profit and for-profit) in building and expanding their reach through online media.

Beverley began her career as a communications officer with the United Farm Workers, and served on the production team of the Prairie Dog – Regina Saskatchewan’s first alternative newspaper. She was also a public relations coordinator and event manager for the International Development Education and Resource Association (IDERA) in Vancouver where she produced film festivals and community media events designed to bring the work of international filmmakers straight to the grassroots.

Beverley led the fundraising team at SAJE in Los Angeles for seven years. In addition to managing their annual fundraising program, she transformed SAJE’s annual fundraising event, a bowlathon, from a small event grossing $3,000 in year one, to a one-day grassroots extravaganza that grossed more than $50,000 and engaged more than 600 people in year four, all through the practical application of digital tools. Currently, she leads the Operations team at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust and sits on the board of Inquilinos Unidos.

Beverley lives in Echo Park with her husband and a scrappy rescue cat. She is an avid yogi, occasional runner, gardener, permaculture enthusiast, photographer, and amateur chocolatier.
