Mark Loranger is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chrysalis, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. During his seven years at Chrysalis, Mark has led significant programmatic and financial growth, including an increase of nearly 80% in clients served and revenue growth of 40%. He recently led the organization’s expansion of its Downtown Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley centers, as well as the significant growth of its two Social Enterprises, which in 2014 employed nearly 500 clients in transitional jobs.

Mark has a diverse skill set developed over 25 years as both an entrepreneur and a corporate leader. Among his entrepreneurial ventures, he counts the founding, operation and sale of a leading logistics and marketing firm in Southern California. Prior to joining Chrysalis, Mark served as a consultant to such non-profit organizations as the Alzheimer’s Association, the Avon Products Foundation, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in the development and execution of large-scale fundraising walks. Early in his career, Mark served as an engineer and marketing representative for IBM.

Mark is a frequent speaker on the topics of Social Enterprise, homelessness and employment.
