"The community within Antioch University’s Psychology Department really attracts a unique blend of students… The Applied Community Psychology Specialization has really equipped me with the resources and knowledge to work not only with individuals but also with systems, like the L.A. County Department of Mental Health. The coursework focuses on the areas of mental health that the system is asking professionals for these days, such as prevention and promotion, developing workshops and groups, writing grants, etc. It trains us to be able to work well with agencies and communities, and I’m really looking forward to that kind of work..."
Robyn is the administrative coordinator for the Los Angeles County Perinatal Mental Health Task Force. Her interests include community organizing, marathon running, travel, restaurants, and preparing for the zombie apocalypse.
