CMHC Student Designs T-Shirt to Help Flood Victims
Joanne Larson, a second-year student in Antioch University New England’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, has designed a t-shirt to raise money to help Vermont victims of the Tropical Storm Irene flood.
All proceeds from its sale will go to help Vermont flood victims.
Larson was contacted by Josh Furnas, co-founder of who hoped to find a Vermont graphic designer to compose a t-shirt to help in the relief. “We were looking for talented local artists in the state of Vermont,” Furnas said. “She popped on our radar rather quickly and we were very excited to have her on board. We collaborated on a few different iterations and finally settled on this one within days. It was pretty awesome.”
“I gladly obliged and was happy I could utilize my skills of 15-plus years to do something helpful for the flood victims,” Larson said.
