Workshop on Developing a Positive Work Culture, Oct. 7 in Hartford, Connecticut
The Center for Leadership and Change at Antioch University (AU) will present a one-day workshop, Toxic Behaviors and Everyday Civility: What You Can Do to Improve Performance and Create More Positive Work Environments, on Monday, October 7, in Hartford, Connecticut.
The workshop is intended for leaders at any level who want to create more positive organizational culture, human resource and organizational development practitioners, educators, and professionals in a wide range of industries including business nonprofits.
Dr. Mitchell Kusy and Dr. Elizabeth Holloway, professors in AU’s PhD Program in Leadership & Change, will lead the workshop.
Kusy is a Fulbright Scholar in international organization development, and former head of leadership development for American Express and director of organization development at HealthPartners.
Holloway is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. She was a Leadership Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She consults with leaders worldwide on systems approaches to supervision, mentoring, coaching, toxicity, and building communities of respectful engagement.
Holloway and Kusy co-authored Toxic Workplace!: Managing Toxic Personalities and Their Systems of Power, published in 2009.
