The Department of Clinical Psychology has had a marvelous practicum association with Brown Center for the Study of Children at Risk in Providence, RI for many years. Please see the abstract from the recent article whose authors include Dr. Stephen Sheinkopf, one of the supervisors, and one of our graduates, Dr. Brian Kavanaugh (2014), on Autism Spectrum Disorder. They truly integrate science and practice at Brown and have published a wealth of research in this very important area.
