Interpreting Natural History Hike

October 13 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Look to the future!

Come for a hike with Jeff Littleton, owner of Moosewood Ecological, LLC and adjunct faculty at Antioch University New England. Jeff will guide us to understand the natural history of the preserve through a portion of our new and updated interpretive trail. This hike will follow the Red Diamond Trail (approx. 1.5 miles and moderately strenuous). This program is our grand reopening of the interpretive trail that extends throughout our trail system. Meet at the preserve parking lot on Daniels Hill Rd. in Keene at 1 p.m. Bring water, a snack and appropriate clothing for a hike. Co-sponsored by the Cheshire County Conservation District, Moosewood Ecological, LLC, and Horatio Colony Nature Preserve.  Registration will be required for this event.

Register here.
