MBA/RMC Community Meeting – What’s Up at AUNE These Days?
Interim Provost Barb Andrews will present a “State of the School” session to bring students up to speed on a variety of programs and initiatives now underway or in development in and around AUNE. Taryn Fisher, Assistant Professor and MBA in Sustainability Program Director will also talk about her recent trip to Toronto for the second annual Global B Corp Academic Community Roundtable, where the theme was “The Role of the Academic Community in Scaling the B Corp Movement.” Taryn is a member of the B Corp Academic Community Roundtable Planning Committee and worked over several months with educators from other universities to plan the event. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q & A throughout.
The Community Meeting Forum is an excellent opportunity for students, alumni, faculty, and guests to interact with community and business leaders on a fascinating array of topics. Past events have included guest speakers sharing experiences and expertise on many aspects of business and sustainability, ranging from impact investing to mindful leadership to climate change impacts on business and community. This year, students in AUNE’s Resource Management and Conservation program will be joining MBA in Sustainability students for these Community Meetings. Alumni of these academic programs are also invited to attend.
