Adjunct Faculty, Waldorf Program
Cory Waletzko has been teaching movement in Waldorf Schools since 2004. She is currently employed at the Upper Valley Waldorf School in Quechee, VT where she teaches grades 1-8. She is a certified Bothmer® Gymnastics instructor and a Level III graduate of the Spacial Dynamics® Institute where she teaches on-going Level I and Level II trainings. Cory mentors and collaborates with movement teachers at various Waldorf schools around the country. Additionally, she has worked for Kim John Payne’s Center for Social Sustainability, bringing the work of Social Inclusion to middle and high school students in both public and private schools. Cory has a Masters in Education from Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, NY and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She is interested in using world rhythms and dance as a way to bridge social and cultural divides. Before becoming a teacher, Cory was a professional dancer, actor, and musician in New York City. She enjoys collaborating and performing with local artists where she lives in central Vermont.
