Provide cheerful, friendly student support for counter and telephone traffic. Job responsibilities will include processing the mail, filing and maintaining files, data entry as well as obtaining and understanding information from our data system and website, maintain reports, mailings, web review, scheduling appointments with staff, and special projects. It is required for this position to be reliable and on-time.
The assistant will be trained on Student Services topics in financial aid, student accounts, and the registrar offices and be expected to answer basic questions about all Student Services Departments.
This position requires first and foremost an attitude of friendly service to all counter and phone traffic. They must also be able to work independently with little supervision, be organized and detailed, possess technical skills to assist with daily tasks, maintain electronic training materials, and work in Microsoft Office with Word and Excel.
