Method to assess remote work: Regular contact with TA; will see the outcomes in terms of specific things the student will be doing.
Job Description: Teaching Assistant will (a) help to transform a highly interactive and experiential in-person class to remote Zoom format, aiding in researching and considering best pedagogical practices for remote learning; (b) help to consider the shift from teaching the class in one section instead of two; (c) assist in rolling out the course in its new format, and continuing to assess it over the semester based on observations and student feedback; (c) troubleshooting and intermittent reassessment of the revisions we have made to the course and syllabus; (d) help facilitate aspects of the course like small discussion groups, online forums, interactive activities; (e) be involved in reading, evaluating, and giving feedback for student papers.
Qualifications: Student interested in the content area of Intervention and who is comfortable with zoom and other technologies. Student with FWSP award is preferred.
