The Center for Behavioral Health Innovation (BHI) at Antioch University New England serves as an external evaluator for Cheshire Medical Center’s multi-year PICH award from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The Partnership is a multi-sector community coalition collaborating to reduce chronic diseases through a four-pronged strategy that includes providing more opportunities for physical activity; increasing access to smoke-free environments; increasing access to healthy food and beverages; and creating more levers for chronic disease prevention. Working with community partners, BHI has designed and implemented an evaluation plan, project databases and data dashboards to support the evaluation of physical activity and worksite wellness programs.
