Introduction to Screenwriting (TBA)

Instructor: Ross Brown, Program Director – MFA in Writing & Contemporary Media
Course description: Learn screenwriting from one of the pros. Ross Brown is a veteran writer who has also taught screenwriting at top film schools like USC and Chapman. In this 10-week course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of writing for the screen: character, conflict, scenes, dramatic structure, screenplay format, and the visual language of the screen. Once you know these fundamentals, you can apply them to the larger goal of writing a feature-length screenplay.
