Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ) is a student-run organization whose purpose is to collaborate with counselors, faculty, and graduate students who seek equitable access to fulfill human needs, opportunities, and rights equity. We strive to help end oppression and injustices affecting clients, students, counselors, families, communities, schools, workplaces, governments, and other social and institutional systems. We are a collaborative group working with students and faculty from across the country and have partnered with Antioch University Seattle in the past.
Our work includes organizing events such as donation drives, webinars, discussion groups, film screenings, petitions, online fundraising, advocacy, and shared events with other student organizations. Although this group was founded in the Applied Psychology department, many students in other departments take very active roles in the group!
