Get One Step Closer to Meeting LPCC Licensure Requirements with Our Special 10-Week Career Course
The MA in Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University Santa Barbara is presenting a special 10-week online/hybrid course, PSC 582 – Career Development Theories and Techniques, starting in July. This 4.5 unit course is designed to support Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) candidates in meeting their licensure eligibility requirements.
In California, LPCCs are able to offer psychotherapeutic services that include establishing counseling goals and objectives to empower individuals to deal adequately with life situations, reduce stress, experience growth, change behavior, and make well-informed rational decisions. AUSB’s MA in Clinical Psychology program, including this course, meets the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) academic requirements for LPCC licensure in the State of California.
The Career Development course will provide both the theoretical foundation and the practical experience necessary to understand and foster the career/lifestyle development for clients both individually and in groups. Students will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to collect, evaluate, and use occupational and life development data in helping individual clients and various client populations to make effective decisions and take appropriate actions in their career/life development, both individually and in groups.
The deadline to register is July 30, 2013. For tuition and registration information, visit our course page.
